Copy Cat Nothing Bunt Cake recipe

Belle,
Here is the Recipe for the Copy Cat Nothing Bunt Cake recipe. Thanks to Favorite family recipes Blog, I have been able to make this recipe a million times! It is fun and easy just how I like it!

1 pkg. devils food cake, German chocolate cake, or chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1 c. sour cream
4 large eggs
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips
2 (8 ounce) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter, softened
3-4 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix first six ingredients together with a beater. Add chocolate chips. Pour into a greased bunt cake pan cooking spray works best. Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 45-50 mins. Remove from oven. Let cool for 20 mins. Remove from pan. I think it tastes best if you put it on a serving plate, wrap it well in Saran Wrap, and let it sit overnight in the fridge before frosting and serving..

In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the powdered sugar (start with 2 cups then keep adding more until it is nice and thick). That's it! Easy right?

The way i do it a little different!
#1 I butter and flour my pans! i just do I do it with everything i bake
#2 When i do the frosting i always put it in the fridge for a few hours to harden somewhat so that it is not melting all over the place. Then I put the frosting in a gallon size ziplock bags (dollar store bags don't work, they just break!!!) Trying not to trap in any air, u don't want air bubbles messing you up. squeeze all the frosting to one corner and then I cut a hole in one of the corners start out small you can always cut it a little bigger if needed. start form the outside base of bunt cake and squeeze the bag and end up with the frosting in the hole of the bunt cake! this were i saw how to
#3 the german chocolate cake makes the cake beautiful, but it is less sweet! but i love the devils food cake mix for mine better, it is just chocolatier!

Yummy Goodness!!!

Erin is hosting her annual Halloween party and I am honored to have her want to make my Cheese Boats! I can not really claim them to be mine, because I believe they came from Nate's Grandma, but I am not really sure! They are delicious either way! Wish I had a pic to post, I will make a mental note to take one next time I make these gooey goodness! (Erin we used the whole can of El Pato Hot Sauce Last time at nates B-day)

CHEESE BOATS

Ingredients :
  • 1lb of hamburger
  • 1lb of cheddar cheese
  • 1can of chopped olives
  • 1 dash of garlic powder (we used garlic cloves because that is what we had)
  • Quarter of a can of El Pato Hot sauce (it depends on hot you want it,use more to make hotter)
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  • Rolls, any will work

Directions:

1. Fry Hamburger, drain meat
2. In the sauce pan mix all the rest of the ingredients in with the meat, except the rolls
3. Stir until cheese is melted
4. hollow out rolls (sometimes we cut the rolls in half and hollow out the halves)
5. Spoon Meat mixture into rolls
6. Bake at 350 until warm, (we like to leave them in a little longer to make the bread crunchy)
